Replacement bellows for Hohner 114 one-row four stop melodeon
It's
almost impossible these days to find new bellows for a Hohner one-row,
four-stop melodeon,so I had these made in Italy.
Cut the old bellows off your original frames using a wide, flat bladed knife.
Mark the frames first, top right front, etc.
Remove bits of glue and stuff from frames and sand smooth.
Lay one frame on a flat surface and apply good quality wood glue.
Lay the bellows on top and apply glue to the other frame.
Check for correct orientation and that everything is lined up squarely.
Lay second frame on top of bellows and put a flat board over the top.
Put a very heavy weight on top of the whole thing (breezeblock, sewing machine, whatever).
Leave overnight.
Apply a bead of glue around the inside, where the bellows joins the frame, and leave to dry.
£175 including postage (alternatively, I can fit them for you for £200 plus postage)
